Immanuel House is a Safe House for children who are removed by DCS from their home due to neglect and abuse. Immanuel House offers a calm, uplifting space where children can play, rest, watch movies or just hang out while they await foster placement. Children can be at the Immanuel House from an hour up to several hours.

Each child that comes to the Immanuel House receives a new outfit, shoes, backpack, blanket and necessary toiletries like a toothbrush, hairbrush and deodorant to take with them to their placement. The kitchen is fully stocked with food, snacks and drinks for children to eat during their stay.

Immanuel House also has a Family Visitation Room for DCS scheduled supervised visitations where families can come to a calm homely environment for their visitations with their children.

Certified Volunteers can come sit with children in the Immanuel House as they await foster placement. Volunteers can rock babies, play games, watch movies or just hold space as the DCS works to make calls to find placement. This is such a special ministry to get involved in!

This ministry is funded solely by donations. Donations can be dropped off at the LCBA office Monday-Thursday 10am-2pm. Monetary donations can be made online or by sending a check payable to:

Loudon County Baptist Association

814 Webb Circle, Lenoir City, TN 37771

Please add "Immanuel House" in the memo section.
